This workpackage is dedicated to the Cost-efficient road mitigation strategies for wildlife aims to answers the question of what type and how much road mitigation is needed to cost-efficiently protect populations and meet the legal and policy requirements defined earlier in Policy for roads and wildlife workpackage.

- Modelling performances of mitigation strategies
Cost-benefit analysis: wildlife and traffic safety
Deliverables:
- Publication of a technical report on modeling performances of mitigation strategies, with the results of the comparative analysis of road mitigation strategies with reference to case studies.
- Publication of technical report on the cost-benefit analysis with the results of the cost-benefit analyses of wildlife collision prevention in Europe.
- Scientific publication on the relative effect of changes in barrier and mortality effects of roads on wildlife population viability.
